Meet Mr. Bingley!

Why did you decide to foster Mr. Bingley?
Mr. Bingley and his brother Mr. Darcy were in dire need of a home. Their mommy had to flee the state due to a domestic abuse situation. They were taken in temporarily by a friend who could not keep them long term. Mr. Bingley had to sleep outside and use a very small dog house with his brother. I immediately felt the need to help these sweet boys find a furever home. Mr. Bingley is a little sponge who is eager to learn and please foster mom. He sleeps in his crate, goes to the door to tell me he has to potty. He will make a wonderful pet for someone.

Does Mr. Bingley have any nicknames?
Sweet boy, Bingley-Boo

How would you describe him in three words?
Loving, intense and shy

What is Mr. Bingley’s favorite thing?
Mr. Bingley loves to take walks outside with his big brother (he is very active) and he loves to get cookies from foster mommy.

Describe Mr. Bingley’s perfect day:
Mr Bingley loves to run outside! He would love to run a lot, get treats and snuggle with his owner.

Describe Mr. Bingley’s ideal family:
Mr. Bingley needs an active family, he has the energy and intelligence of a border collie. He is friendly to all people he meets, but he does possess some of the herding instincts of the Border collie, so small children could be herded if he is not properly exercised. He needs a family who will give him lots of love and attention, he thrives on it. He will make an excellent pet and companion to the perfect family.

Meet Mr. Darcy!

Why did you decide to foster Mr. Darcy?
I decided to foster Mr. Darcy and his brother Mr. Bingley when a friend put an urgent plea on Facebook for a home for these boys. Mr. Darcy was literally days from being taken to a shelter that was full. I took one look at their picture and said, “I can’t keep them furever (haha) but I can love them until they found a permanent home.”

Does Mr. Darcy have any nicknames?
Sweet boy, Darcy baby.

How would you describe Mr. Darcy in three words?
Spunky, loving and smart.

What is Mr. Darcy’s favorite thing?
Mr. Darcy loves to wrestle with his brother Mr. Bingley and he LOVES to take walks.

Describe Mr. Darcy’s perfect day:
Mr. Darcy is a really sweet boy who loves snuggles and playing with his toys (his favorite is his squeaky hamburger). Every day Mr. Darcy looks forward to his walk, play time and of course, nap time… So basically every day is perfect with this sweet boy.

Describe Mr. Darcy’s ideal family:
Mr. Darcy needs an active family who loves to walk and hike. He is a border collie lab mix, which means he is very intelligent, needs stimulation and regular exercise. Border collies are better for families who are not novice dog owners, but they are great with plenty of space to run and play. So if you like to exercise, cuddle and want a very loyal companion Mr. Darcy is the puppy for you!

How would you describe him in three words?
Crazy
Snuggly

What is Zeth’s favorite thing?
Being with you!

Describe Zeth’s perfect day:
Playing in the yard a little and then being with you the rest of the day.

Describe Zeth’s ideal family:
He would love an active family who has enough time to devote to him and make sure he can burn off energy. He would probably do well as a family dog with children to dote on because he adores people and is very snuggly and sweet. His favorite activities include chewing on bones and eating treats, but his true favorite thing is to be right by your side! Although he can be a little choosy about his canine friends, so it would be best to make sure it’s a love match.
